Disney Review Comes to Tuacahn

Tuacahn has been the host to many a Disney musical. Just last month, visitors came flocking to see the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast play out on stage, reliving memories from days gone by (still playing until October 17). What could be better than one Disney musical? A Disney review. This month, Tuacahn welcomes When You Wish – a beautiful tale that incorporates all of your childhood favorites.

When You Wish Musical

When You Wish is the story of a young girl who opens a book to discover the magical world of Disney. Her journey takes her to meet such beloved characters as Mulan, Tarzan, Aladdin, the Little Mermaid, and newboys from Newsies. The red rock backdrop of southern Utah creates the perfect fantastical ambiance to host such a musical as each story comes to life on stage.

When You Wish Musical 1

When You Wish both delights children and adults. Many children are introduced to the wonderful characters for the first time and adults get to sit back as they walk down memory lane remembering the enchantment of such classic tales.

Ultimately, When You Wish is the tribute to Walt Disney. As Dean McClure (playwright/composer of the musical) commented: ”If there’s anything I’ve learned from the life of Walt Disney, it’s that no matter what we see on the nightly news, the world isn’t all bad. And by having the courage to dream, we can make it better. Walt did.”

So, come! Enjoy the musical and leave with the courage to make the world better and brighter. Reserve your tickets today for a Disney sensation you won’t soon forget.

When You Wish is at Tuacahn from June 5 – October 16 (check the calendar for more specific nightly schedule as each week varies). The show starts at 8:45 p.m. Tickets range in price from $22.50 – $69.50 and can be purchased here.
