- This online newspaper provides a great snapshot of what’s happening in the St.George area, at Dixie State University especially. It stays up to date and covers live music concerts and theater, golf tournaments, outdoor events, and seminars. For you history buffs, they even have a great historic sites section worth looking into. Check their calendar when you book your trip to see if any of these events are up your alley.
- Though municipal in nature, the St. George City website is a great resource for vacationers as well. This is where you should go to find more information about summer concert series, summer movie series, arts festivals, local races, and parade of homes. Just click on the “Monthly Events and Attractions” icon to see the entire list of events organized by month.
- True to its name, this online newspaper is an independent source of news and – for our purposes – local events in St. George and the surrounding area. Their events page lists just about every event in the local area by date and time. Talk about easy to navigate! For a quick resource where you can find all the basic information you need at-a-glance, the Independent is for you.
