Take a Tour Backstage at Tuacahn!

We’ve raved about this year’s musicals and concerts at Tuacahn. Now it’s time to explore the logistics behind the magic! Tuacahn offers backstage tours throughout the season; here is how it works…

Tuacahn Backstage Tour

If you and your family want to catch a glimpse behind the curtain, request a guided, walking tour! Tours cost $5/adult and $3/child under 12. They last 30 minutes and can be reserved by calling the Box Office at 435-652-3300. On the tour, you’ll see Tuacahn’s costume closet, scene shot, and green room. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes, especially in a desert, amphitheater setting.

I recommend reserving a tour shortly  before seeing a concert or production. Baffling special effects will suddenly be made clear and you’ll see the show in a completely new way. Most importantly, your family will be able to enjoy the theater experience with a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the preparation and work that goes into a production.
