Any visit to the theater should include a dinner reservation; the combination of food and entertainment can’t be beat! Instead of trekking your family to a local restaurant before heading to a show at Tuacahn, why not consider eating at the amphitheater itself?! That’s right, Tuacahn offers a pre-show dinner that you won’t want to miss.
The pre-show dinner menu varies and is created around the themes of each show. For Beauty and the Beast, the chefs put together a fare that includes chicken fricassee with braised pork and potatoes followed by a strawberry cream cake or ice cream sundae. When You Wish calls for less formal cuisine such as burgers and fries with bbq baked beans or onion rings followed by a rice krispie treat or ice cream sundae. For Sister Act the chefs dug deep into their southern repertoire and served up hand-carved Cajun pork loin with soul street chicken and rice, sweet potato casserole, and mac and cheese followed by coconut cream pie or ice cream sundae. To make your little ones happy, there is also a children’s menu.
What sounds better than dining outdoors on the amphitheater plaza at sunset while enjoying the ambiance of the red cliffs of Tuacahn towering overhead? This is an experience not to be ignored. The pre-show dinner will enhance your experience at Tuacahn and give you memories that will last a lifetime. After dinner, stick around the stage to see the free pre-show that usually features local artists of all genres.
Pre-show meals are served on the amphitheatre plaza two-hours prior to the show. You can purchase show tickets and make arrangements for the pre-show dinner by calling the Tuacahn Box Office at 435-652-3300.
